Review: Jane Iredale PureMoist Lip Colour in Sharon

Sharon becomes more pink on the darker side of my arm

Consistency: Sharon is a very creamy, matte lipstick from the Jane Iredale PureMoist line. The formula is moisturizing and goes on super smooth. It is not the type of matte lipstick that dehydrates or accentuates lips' dryness.

Color: This shade is a nude color, but it is not pale. It is more of a pink-nude, that almost matches the color of my lips. It is very flattering and brightens up my entire face. The color is so rich that one application already gives enough coverage. Also, it goes very well with another one of my Jane Iredale favorite lip products, the lip liner in Spice.

Scent: The lipstick has a delicious vanilla smell, but I do not find it overpowering at all. I don't do well with synthetic scents, and even completely natural scents can give me a headache. This lipstick feels just fine, and I actually enjoy having it on my lips. It is gluten free, but sorry vegans, it does contain beeswax.

Packaging: The packaging is a lovely metallic golden tube, very fancy-looking, and it is tiny, (0.1 oz.), so it can definitely fit in your purse pocket.

Price: $20 on dermstore.

My final thoughts: This is actually my go-to lipstick. I like everything about the Jane Iredale PureMoist Lip Colour lipsticks: they are safe, they are moisturizing, they smell nice and they stay on all day long. This is one of my very favorite shades.
