Jane Iredale Forever Pink Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain is a "lip and cheek stain that provides long-lasting, custom color to lips and cheeks." I received a deluxe sample of it as a complimentary gift with my most recent purchase of Jane Iredale products.
Color: This is the most interesting part, because this product is supposed to adjust to your body's chemistry and create a custom shade of pink. In fact, on my lips this light peachy-pink stain turned into a bright berry color. By adding more layers, the color deepens gradually. I do not prefer the bright color that it creates on my lips too much, but I do like it on my cheeks a lot, and I have been wearing it everyday. The concept is similar to the Smashbox O-Gloss and Smashbox O-Glow, but Jane Iredale's product has the advantage of being multipurpose, which I prefer.

Scent: It has a sweet cherry scent, (it looks and smells like a piece of candy), and it reminds me of my first lipsticks I used to put on when I was a little girl. I find it pleasant, but if you do not like sweet scented lips, you might not enjoy it.
Consistency: It feels slick and glossy, but not sticky, and has a very shiny finish. The formula is very moisturizing. When I apply it, I make sure that I do so evenly, because it does settle into my lips lines slightly. It is also very movable on lips, so I make sure I apply it within the lips natural contour. I believe that it got the name of "just kissed" because it makes your lips look like you were "just kissed" and left with reddish, brighter, and tingling lips. This stain lasted several hours on my lips, (about five), and lasted all day long on my cheeks. In order to completely take it off I had to rub my lips with coconut oil, (which usually breaks down ALL make-up), and a little bit of color was still left on my lips. On my cheeks, this stain looks very subtle, as if I had been pinched. I apply a little bit of product with the stick, and then very rapidly I blend it with my fingers before it dries out.

Final Thoughts: I enjoy this product a lot and love the concept behind it. It is multipurpose, which makes it great for an everyday quick routine, and easy touch-up. I am also a huge fan of cream-blushes versus powder-blushes, and this one is really lovely on cheeks. The custom color could possibly disappoint some, because you are not going to know what color it turns out to be on your face and lips until you try it; but if you like to wear pink shades, it will definitely work for you. It just gives a pretty flush of color to your cheeks, and a bright shine to your lips. I will probably purchase it in full size and buy it as a gift as well.
